Today’s Parable is known by two titles, ‘The Rich Man & Lazarus or ‘Dives & Lazarus’. Dives is Latin for ‘rich man’. This is the only parable where a character is given a name – Lazarus. Not to be confused with the brother of Martha & Mary.
